Vijay Singh captured the PGA Tour FedEx cup trophy on Sunday afternoon with a finishing round 70 at East Lake, 9 over par for the tournament. Singh had won the first two playoff events of the FedEx cup, putting him so far in front of the field, that he would automatically win the cup, barring a withdrawl or disqualification at East Lake.
Singh gets $9 million in cash. The other $1 million is deferred compensation.

I’m not trying to make anyone cry here or even rub it in, but unfortunately the golf season is coming to an end for 2008. I’m not just talking about the fact that those of you who live in the “colder” states are not going to be able to get out and play soon due to weather and climate, but the FedEx Championship is getting closer, which means no more decent golf on tv..at least until the Champions Skins Game airs (that was a joke).
Being on the West Coast, …

This finish completed her first step toward earning her tour card, she was 8 under after 72 holes. The 18-year-old Stanford student needed only to finish in the top 30 to advance …

Anthony Kim – What’s In His Bag?

By now you all know that the USA Ryder Cup team, let by captain Paul Azinger, pulled off a huge victory against the Euros on Sunday. With the last US Ryder Cup win coming back in the dark ages of 1999, this years team left their guts on the fairways of Valhalla Golf Club and came out with the “W”. Congrats to all the members. Job well done! It’s a shame Tiger couldn’t be there…or is it?
With that being said, here’s the gear that …
