I know this post isn't golf related, but I figured some of you would like it anyway, especially you nostalgic car guys from the 60's & 70's. I had the opportunity to join a friend, who works at a local Dodge dealership, to the 2009 Ram Truck / 2009 Dodge Challenger product launch training class in Irvine, California. The site of the old Marine Corps air base at El Toro is now a testing ground for many of the new makes and models of cars coming on the market. We got to drive the all new Ram 1500 and competitive makes such as the F150, Chevy Silverado, & Toyota Tundra. This was all well and good, but the highlight of the day was at the closing when some of the professional test drivers brought out the 2009 Dodge Challenger and put it up against the new Bullet Ford Mustang. You can see by the photos that the Challenger can light it up. The guys putting on the course said they replace the tires on their test vehicles every 2 days or so. As you can see by the pic I took, these guys don't mess around. The Challenger beat the hell out of the Mustang, and they had that Challenger sideways most of the way. Great way to spend the afternoon I must say.
