28 September 2008 1,380 views 3 Comments

Vijay Singh captured the PGA Tour FedEx cup trophy on Sunday afternoon with a finishing round 70 at East Lake, 9 over par for the tournament. Singh had won the first two playoff events of the FedEx cup, putting him so far in front of the field, that he would automatically win the cup, barring a withdrawl or disqualification at East Lake.

Singh gets $9 million in cash. The other $1 million is deferred compensation.

Yeah that’s some serious cash…for hitting a little white ball around. Makes you wish you started playing when you were 5 years old.
