Bad news for Tiger and his fans, probably great news for his competition, TW says he doesn’t expect to be back to 100% until 2010. After having surgery to rebuild his ACL shortly after his 18 hole playoff against Rocco Mediate in the 2008 US Open, Tiger says his rehab is progressing as planned, however he will not be able to swing a club until January 2009 at the earliest. Woods is optimistic that when he does return to competitive play next spring, that even at 85%, he can compete at the level needed to win. To read more about Tiger’s progress visit Golf.com here.
