Man when a golf swing goes bad, IT REALLY GOES BAD. Somewhere a couple months ago, I completely lost it. No not my mind, my golf swing, which had been so solid for so long. I was recently contacted by Mark Schneider at Tomahawx™ Golf Tees about testing out his innovative new golf tee design and doing a review here on the blog. I gladly agreed and Mark sent me out some tees in a few different sizes. I have to say that I’m fairly traditional when it comes to golf equipment. With the 50th anniversary of the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic underway, you’ve probably noticed that funny man, George Lopez is no longer hosting the event. In his place, the great Arnold Palmer, who will no doubt make a very gracious host. Unfortunately, Dave Feherty doesn’t approve of the manner in which his buddy George was “let go”.

It’s been reported that Phil has committed to play in the FBR Open this week at TPC Scottsdale, which would mark his 20th appearance in the event. This will only be the second time that Mickelson has made the FBR his season debut. It will be fun to see what kind of shape Phil will be in. I’ll bet he was hitting the gym hard in the off season and he’s going to be completely ripped from head to toe. [Sarcasm...no charge]

While I’m sure Steve would also like TW to get back out making him (I mean them) some money again, Buick is reportedly putting some additional pressure on Tiger to come back a little earlier than he would probably like. With the Buick Invitational at Torrey Pines coming up in a few weeks, I personally think it’s doubful that he’ll be ready. Only Tiger Woods will decide when Tiger Woods’ knee is ready for competitive golf. Mark that one down.
