Sorry guys, you blew your chance to snag a rich LPGA Champion.  Annika Sorenstam and Mike McGee were married Saturday at Lake Nona Golf  & Country club , four weeks after the Swedish golf star ended her Hall of Fame career.   Congrats to Mike and Annika.

Yeah I know I’m going to take some flack for this, but I will stand behind this statement and say that my driver is even more important than my putter. If I’m not hitting my driver well, the rest of my game suffers instantly. For me, hitting fairways is equally, if not more important than hitting greens. My rationale for this is that you have to hit the fairway to give yourself a chance at hitting the green. Sounds like a simple theory, and it is.

John Daly was suspended from playing on the PGA tour today for making obscene hand jestures & showing his oversized gut.  Ok that’s probably not true, but he was suspended by the PGA in disciplinary action for last year’s bad publicity.  Namely being arrested at a South Carolina Hooters, hitting tee shots off the tops of beer cans, and randomly picking up NFL head coaches to caddy mid-tournament.   It’s not known when the suspension actually begins or ends, but I’d be willing to bet this isn’t the last we’ve heard …
