John Daly Borrows Al Czervik’s Pants

John Daly was recently spotted wearing some “classic” 1970’s golf attire at the Open de Espana at the PGA Golf Catalunya in Girona, Spain.   Apparently Daly didn’t feel he was receiving the attention he duly deserved, so he borrowed Al Czervik’s pants, and hit the links in Wednesday’s Pro-Am.

Far be it from me to criticize these guys outfits, but I’m of the opinion that you either need to fall into one of the 3 categories to pull off this retro outfit.  1.  Be really skinny  2.  Be skinny & European (preferably with the last name Poulter) and 3.  Have no arrest warrants in the past 2 years and be a semi-competitive golfer.

What do you think?  Could you pull this look off…and would you have the guts to try?  I’ll bet you get a free bowl of soup with those pants.

I really love this guy. He looks good in this picture. His clothes match and he appears to have lost weight.
