Every once and while you run across a golf hole and just wonder “was the course architect on dope when he designed this?” I’ve played some holes that just don’t make sense. A 112 yard par 3 at the local municipal course comes to mind. So what’s strange about a short par 3 you ask? Well, you tee off on the side of a cliff for starters.

Titleist gets a new lease on life in the ProV1 patent case
Update to the long running patent feud between Acushnet (Titleist) and Callaway over the ProV1 golf ball. An appeals court has granted Acushnet’s request for a new trial. It was found that the previous court ruling was not valid due to some issues regarding the court not allowing Titleist to present defense evidence.
The Club Caddy™ Review
If “The Club Caddy” sound familiar to you, it’s probably because it’s the creation of inventor David Jones, and was the big winner of The Golf Channel’s “Fore Inventors Only” show last year. David contacted me about checking out his product and I couldn’t resist. Like most of you, I’m down with just about any thing that has to do with golf.
For those of you who haven’t seen the Club Caddy before now, it’s such a simple invention it’s almost ridiculous.

PGA Championship Starts Today…Who’s Your Pick
The final major of the year, the PGA Championship at Hazeltine is starting today. Like 99% of the golfing world, I’d have to put my money on Tiger this week, especially after coming off two wins in a row. We’ll try to forget about the gas passing incident and focus on more important things. So who’s your pick for the top spot this week.
