Use the 2 tee drill to help accelerate through putts

2teedrillAre you having trouble getting the ball to the hole?  Or do you consistently pull and push your putts?  This may be a deceleration problem?  Here’s  a simple drill that uses two tees to help you learn the feel of accelerating through the putt.  This will have you rolling the ball truer and on a straighter line only after a few sessions.

This is a great tip. All to often players are afraid to accelerate through the putt. I think it has to do with being afraid of running to far the past the hole.

    Thanks for the tip.

No problem. I think you’re right about most golfers worrying about those 3-4 footers coming back. I hate putting (or playing) scared. It’s one thing to be cautious and make wise decisions, it’s another thing to just be worried about what the next shot holds.
