For those of you who are following the latest season of the Golf Channel’s Big Break, you’ll by now have heard of the aspiring PGA Tour player Andrew Giuliani, son of Rudy Giuliani.  You’ll also probably have realized that the guy has the gift of gab, and it seems to be rubbing some of his competitors the wrong way (and we’re only 3 shows deep).
I’ve been trying not to get caught up in the "Anti-Andrew" fever that seems to be spreading on the show, but I have to admit that …

Titleist Vokey Spin Milled 60-07 Wedge Review

After playing the same Spin Milled 60 degree wedge for the past couple years, I finally came to the realization that it was time to put that old friend in the closet and get something with nice, new, sharp grooves.  Unfortunately, being left handed, finding any Vokey wedges in the big box golf stores always tends to be a challenge.  Luckily the guys over at Vokey in Carlsbad, California, were able to track one down for me, to which I’m extremely grateful.

So why am I posting about a WordPress Amazon Plugin? I don’t normally talk about site development here on the blog, but I know there’s a lot of other golf blog / site owners who read this, so I wanted to let everyone know about a great plugin that I found for WordPress that let’s you add actual Amazon products & reviews directly on your site. The plugin is called WPAmaniche and it is super slick.  If you’re already a member of the Amazon Affiliate Program, then you’ve got …

Officials say an alligator bit off part of a golfer’s arm as he leaned over to pick up his ball at a private South Carolina course.

The man, who is in his 70s, was retrieving his ball from a pond when the 10-foot alligator bit him at Ocean Creek Golf Course in Beaufort County. The gator pulled the golfer into the pond and ripped off his arm in the struggle. His golf partners were able to free him.

Wildlife workers killed the alligator and retrieved the arm in the hopes it might be reattached.
