John Daly finished the opening round of the Transitions Championship with a one under score of 70 and a day 2 round of 71 to currently put him tied for 27th. Unless a dozen guys go low in the afternoon rounds, it looks like we’ll get to see Big John stick around for the weekend’s festivities.  It sure would be nice to see him shoot a couple good rounds and pull a top 10 finish.

After checking out the first installment of the new season of the Golf Channel’s "Haney Project", I’m pretty convinced that Ray Romano has a solid enough game to be able to break 80 one day, with the help of Hank.  First off, it’s obvious that it’s a serious goal of Ray’s to do this.  You can tell he loves the game and practices, so that’s half the battle in my book.
